A new pump still depends on the float and discharge path. A check valve that no longer holds lets water fall back into the pit, so the pump cycles again and again. A float set too high or too low starts the pump at the wrong moment. We set the float, inspect the valve and discharge line, and run the pump with real water before calling the job done.

A charged battery backup can operate during a power outage, within its battery runtime and pumping limits. We assess the pit and discharge arrangement before recommending one.
A failed check valve, a float set too low, or groundwater that keeps rising can cause continuous running. We check the valve and float before assuming the pump itself is at fault.
If a section is damaged or restricted, we include the repair in the written scope before the work begins. We inspect the line during the visit.
