A prehung exterior door arrives already hung in its frame, with the sill and weatherstripping in place. It replaces the old door and frame in the same opening. We assess the trim and any storm door before confirming what can be retained or refitted.
Steel and fiberglass units are the common choices. Lever handles are easier to use than knobs, and a keypad lock can be fitted at the same time.
